POND CREEK-HUNTER ANNOUNCES NEW BASEBALL HEAD COACH
Matt Conerly
"I am extremely grateful and excited for the opportunity to serve as the Head Baseball and Fastpitch Softball Coach at PCH. I am a graduate of Edmond Memorial High School, where I was fortunate to be a part of the 2016 State Championship baseball team. I continued my playing career at Northern Oklahoma College–Enid and Oklahoma Christian University, experiences that helped shape both my love for the game and my approach to leadership.
Beyond playing, I have been blessed with opportunities to learn from great programs and coaches. I served as a student manager for the Oklahoma State baseball team in 2020, where I worked with data analytics used in scouting and player development. In 2023, I joined the Oklahoma Christian baseball staff as an assistant coach, overseeing hitting, baserunning, and infield. Most recently, I served as the hitting coach at Edmond Memorial High School for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, where our team combined for 54 wins across those seasons and acheived a team ranking as high as No. 10 in the country by Prep Baseball Report.
I am incredibly thankful for the mentors, players, and programs that have invested in me along the way and I can’t wait to pour that same energy and knowledge into PCH. I look forward to building a program that empowers every individual to grow into the best, most selfless version of themselves both on and off the field."
