Hi! Our Pond Creek-Hunter Middle and High School STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) program is expanding to include additional classes with additional teachers so we can reach more students to be included in our program. We are trying to purchase 3D Printers with filament. We have made an account with AdoptAClassroom.org which is a platform for donors to make tax deductible donations to schools. Monday and Tuesday, May 6-7, AdoptAClassroom.org will match every donation given up to $100 until their $20,000 of funds is gone. FFA Banquet has been cancelled for tonight. All awards will be passed out Thursday at the awards assembly.
Tomorrow we will be turning in bags, chargers, and laptops. Please make sure to have all your unnecessary items out of the bag. If chargers are not turned in with laptop they will need to pay $25.
Due to the threat of severe weather tomorrow both at home and in Wichita, the PreK and KG field trip has been cancelled for May 6th.
Join us at the Grant County Track Meet tomorrow in Pond Creek for grades 1st-4th. Field events will start at 9:30 and running events start at 10:00. Parents, please have all students wear charcoal gray shirts and plenty of sunscreen! We are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather!
PC-H Cheerleaders will have a concession stand tomorrow at the Grant County Track Meet. They will serve hamburgers, hotdogs, walking tacos, nachos, chips, candy, and plenty to drink! Come support the girls as they raise funds for their upcoming cheer season. Money will go towards uniforms, poms, and other expenses!

Important message from the OSSAA:
Due to the weather outlook across the state and the chance for severe weather along with tornadoes, we have made the tough decision to move our Class A – 4A regional track meets to Monday. We understand that this may create some conflicts, but we felt for the safety of the student-athletes, coaches, workers, and families that this was the best decision we could make.
Just to clarify 5/6th track pictures tomorrow will be all boys and girls.
Reminder, Tomorrow all girls basketball pictures will be taken this will include 5-12 grade.. 5/6 will also be taking track pictures. Please make sure to bring all your uniforms to school with you.
All library books will be due May 2nd. Blue slips listing overdue books and any library fines will be sent home this week. Please look for these in your child's bag on Tuesday.
The bus for the JH/HS track meet at Covington tomorrow will be leaving at 8:30. Students should check in with their first hour class. They will be released to go to breakfast at 8:15.
Prom Walk guests: The Prom Caravan will park down the street at the new gym front doors, wrap to the east, and then back through the school/park bus alley. An image can be found on our FB and Live Feed pages showing the flow of traffic for the caravan. Cones and volunteers will be there to guide everyone. Please be mindful of these areas and park elsewhere. Thank you.
The Jr Class would like to invite everyone to Prom Walk tomorrow, Apr 20th, at the new gym, 6:00. Afterward, the caravan will make its way to the Expo Center. Parents are invited to the Expo Center for casual pictures for a brief time until Prom begins.
Last chance to order Track and Field t-shirts. Order forms are available in the elementary and high school offices. Shirts are $20 each and are available from youth small to adult 4XL. Thank you for supporting track and field students.

After Prom permission forms are at the High School office. Anyone attending After Prom, including out of town dates, must have a signed permission slip returned.
If your child has any clothes or bags in the new gym please have them picked up by Thursday afternoon for prom walk.
Correction tomorrow 5th -12th will be allowed to attend the track meet.
All students 6th-12th who are wanting to attend the PC-H track meet Wednesday April 17th will be excused to do so. Please make sure to wear sunscreen and bring plenty of water. Lunches will be available by the school as well as concession stand.
