On November 5th, Juniors are invited and encouraged to complete the ASVAB, which is an elective test for students to complete and later receive career and/or military guidance based upon their results. This year, students will take the ASVAB at Medford High School. Students will need to eat breakfast at 8:00 and be ready to load the bus by 8:40. Students should return to PC-H around noon.
If students do not wish to have their contact information shared with the military, please contact Mrs. Riddle at triddle@pondcreek-hunter.k12.ok.us to request an opt-out form by November 2nd. These students will stay at PC-H during this testing time.

Seniors are invited and encouraged to attend the Frontier College and Career Fair on November 4th. Students need to meet at the HS office before 8:00 to load the bus. Students should eat breakfast before school and will need money for lunch before returning to school by 1:00.

The PreACT is scheduled for November 3rd. Students will eat breakfast at 8:00 and begin testing in the HS science room by 8:30. PreACT scores are looked at for both career tech and concurrent course enrollment., so please encourage students to get a good night's rest and eat a healthy meal leading up to the test.

Senior Parents/Guardians:
On October 28th at 5:30, PC-H will host a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Night in the HS commons area. If you prefer to complete the FAFSA during FAFSA Night, please do the following: 1. Students are urged to create an account at least 7 days before submitting the FAFSA by visiting https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. Do not use a school email as this FSA ID will not expire, but the school email will become inactive after the students move or graduate. 2. Parents/guardians will also need access to their previously-created FSA ID or create their own account. Only one parent/guardian per student must have an FSA ID. 3. On FAFSA Night, bring a laptop. 4. Have access to 2025 taxes, current bank account balances, and W-2s (especially for students who worked but did not file taxes). 5. Parents/guardians and students will each need individual email addresses - one for the student (non-school email) and another for the parent contributor. You will need to access those email accounts and your phones that night to get the verification codes.
