The students who signed up to take the ACT at PC-H on Wednesday, October 7th, will need to bring a check written to PC-H Schools for $60.50 with them to the testing room. This excludes the students in the junior class who will take the test for free as it is their testing year.
All high school seniors were emailed on August 24th about signing up for the District ACT, and the physical sign up sheet was offered to all high school students over multiple days in September. If your student missed this deadline, they will not be able to test at this time, but there are several other dates available to test for the ACT at a national testing site. Visit act.org for details.
On October 7th, PC-H will host a district ACT, which is free to all juniors and is $60.50 for each other high school student who registered to take the test at this time. The test will begin at 8:00 and will include the English, math, and reading portions of the ACT only. Students who are registered to take this ACT should eat breakfast before school and should bring their laptops and chargers with them to use during testing.

Our Senior English students are getting ready to dive into The Scarlet Letter! They started by conducting basic research to build background knowledge, then teamed up to create engaging Google Slides presentations to share with their classmates.
They put their creativity and technology skills to work while learning from one another along the way!

On Monday, Oct. 5th, a representative from SWOSU will be in the HS English room at 1:45 to talk with interested seniors who would like to know more about SWOSU. Topics may include scholarships, dorm life, and more.

All juniors have been registered and any interested other high school students were encouraged to register for this workshop. The juniors will have their fees paid for, but the other students will need to bring $20.

The 2026 Football Homecoming Coronation ceremony will be this Thursday, October 1, at 6 p.m.
This year’s king candidates are Cord Southwick, Carlos Robinson, and Noah Crouch. The three queen candidates are Alli Cooley, Chloe Williams, and Hallie Jones. The crown bearer is Grayson Bowman, and the flower girl is Nora Gibson.
Please join us as we celebrate our Homecoming Court and then stay to cheer on the Panthers against the Cyril Pirates!
