This afternoon we were alerted of a smoke smell near the elementary bathrooms. We contacted our local fire department and evacuated all students from the buildings. It was determined that the smell came from a seized up blower motor and all electricity has been turned off. Our local fire department brought their thermal imaging camera and found no hotspots.
The bus will not return home to Pond Creek tonight until after the HS game has finished. Players may check out with a parent/guardian at the game, or permission must be given prior to 3pm today if they will be riding home with someone other than a parent.
Reminder tonight is spirit night at Chic-fi-la from 5:30pm-8:00pm . Proceeds will help with after prom.
The softball games scheduled for Thursday March 6th with Garber have been cancelled. The JH game will be rescheduled for a later date. The HS game will not be rescheduled.

12:00 PCH Boys
12:30 PCH Black-3rd Girls
1:00 PCH Boys
1:30 PCH White-4th Girls
We will not play the 4:00 and 4:30 games so that we are back by the end of school.

Parent/Teacher conferences have been rescheduled for Wednesday, 2/26/25. We will keep the same scheduled times from our missed date. Please call the office if you need to reschedule. This will be an exciting night with PTSA Bingo Night starting at 6:00 in the cafeteria! If you plan to play, you must purchase your bingo tickets early through PTSA.
Reminder-We will have school tomorrow Friday Feb 21st.
PC-H will start school at regular time tomorrow. Buses will run 1 hour late. If you live in town and your children need a ride, call the school office and we will come get them. Please do not let your child walk to school.
THIS MESSAGE IS GOING OUT TO ALL CLASS B – 2A SUPERINTENDENTS, PRINCIPALS, ATHLETIC DIRECTORS, BOYS AND GIRLS COACHES.
We are moving our regional basketball tournament back one day. Instead of starting on Thursday, we will start the tournament on Friday. We will play Friday, Saturday and Monday. Game times and sites to remain the same.
Thank you for your patience as we worked through our decision.
Due to the extreme cold and questionable road conditions for morning travel, PC-H will have a virtual day Wednesday, Feb 19th.
The 3/4 basketball festival at Timberlake (Jet) scheduled for 2/18/2025 has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
