
There will be a Senior Awards Assembly held via Zoom on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 6:30pm. During this Zoom Meeting, scholarships will be announced, as well as the Top Student Awards. Seniors, please watch your school email for the link to arrive Monday, May 11 for this meeting. We hope you and your parents are able to attend!

There will be a senior check out on Thursday, May 14 from 11am-12pm and 5:30pm-6:30pm. You should have received an email if you owe the district anything. Everything on your list must be fulfilled in order to check out. You will need to bring your laptop as well to have school licensed programming removed and to send off for any repairs needed. Should your laptop need repairs, please fill out a help ticket first so we have record of it. You may purchase your laptop at this time as well. See you then!

HS Students who are taking concurrent college courses will need to provide a college transcript to Mrs. Kimmell by Friday, May 22nd in order to get reimbursed for college courses. Seniors will also need to provide Mrs. Bailey with a copy of the transcript so that she can verify all college coursework is listed on the student's HS transcript. Students may send transcripts via email or call the HS to make an appointment to drop them off.

There will be school staff available from 11 am-12 pm and 5:30 pm-6:30 pm on Monday, May 11, and Wednesday, May 13, in front of the school. All Elementary, Middle School, and 9th grade students MUST return their school laptop, charger, and bag. All students in grades PK-11 should also drop off uniforms, library books, and anything that is the property of the school, i.e. a calculator, books from a classroom, etc., that need to be returned. Senior checkout will be done at another time.

There will be HS staff available from 11am-12pm and 5:30pm-6:30pm Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in front of the high school, so that we may begin to close out the school year. Students may drop off uniforms, library books, and anything that is the property of the school that needs to be returned. There will be a second drop off date (TBD) that will also be used for our senior check out. If you are still using school issued items for your course work, i.e. a calculator, books from a classroom, etc., they may be returned during the second drop off.

Parents: We have been working this week to prepare our Distance Learning Resources and are excited to connect with your student. Please go to the school website, click on "Explore" then click on "Distance Learning Assignments & Resources" for more information. Please have your student check their school email. Distance Learning classes will begin Monday, April 6.

Middle School Parents: Your child’s personal items from their school locker, band instruments, athletic bags, etc. that were left in the middle school hall have been bagged up and are ready for you or your student to collect. Items may be picked up tomorrow, April 2, from 10:00 am-Noon or from 4:00-6:00 pm by the cafeteria doors in the bus alley. Please enter from the south, stay inside your vehicle, and the items will be delivered to you. We are asking that you also return any sports uniforms and library books at this time.

Elementary Parents/Guardians: Your child’s personal items and computer (if requested) are ready for you! Items may be picked up from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.or from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. April 1, by the cafeteria doors in the bus alley. Please enter from the south, stay inside your vehicle, and items will be delivered to you. Those who are receiving the laptop must sign our laptop agreement forms. Please read over them beforehand at https://go.aws/2JqxpRJ You will sign this documentation when you pick up your computer.

Starting next week the two days of meals will be available for pickup on Mondays and three days of meals will be available for pickup on Wednesdays. See attached pictures for example of next weeks meals.

Update to previous message. The Hunter meal pickup spot has been moved. It will be in front of the Hunter Post Office.

Meals may be picked up from 11 AM-Noon at both locations on Mondays and Wednesdays. Monday meal sacks will have 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches for each child. Wednesday meal sacks will have 3 breakfast and 3 lunches per child. Meals are available for any PC-H student or any child under the age of 18.

We are pleased to announce that beginning on Monday, March 30, we will begin delivering meals for our Hunter area and Nash area students. The pickup spots will be the old Hunter school parking lot and the Nash bus stop.

Juniors and Sophomores who are interested in taking concurrent college classes for the fall 2020 semester can still enroll. Students can call Mrs. Ronck for more information 580-532-4241 x218

Concurrent students: NOC has extended their Spring Break through March 30. NWOSU classes start today. All colleges have gone to all online course work. It is the student’s responsibility to log in to their college Blackboard account to check for & keep up with assignments. Pond Creek-Hunter Schools will begin providing free sack lunches and breakfasts to all students enrolled in school and/or children 18 and younger in the District during the rest of the spring semester as long as school is not in session.
This service will begin Monday March 23rd and continue each day between 11:00 and 12:00 o'clock. You can pick up the sack as you drive through the bus alley. Please do not enter the building, the sack will be brought out to your car at the west Cafeteria entrance.
Due to U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines, students must be present in the car to receive a meal.
